Job Title: Marketing Manager Location: Foster City
MarketLive’s Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing and measuring outbound lead generation and field marketing programs for MarketLive’s eCommerce solutions. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, the primary focus of this role is to measurably grow MarketLive sales pipeline using the complete marketing mix. A successful candidate will have strong creative skills, strong program management capabilities, and be rigorous in measurement of programs. Specific responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: - Planning and implementing integrated lead generation campaigns (e-based, face-to-face, and telemarketing-based) including developing campaign calendar to achieve lead targets, managing media buys, working with subject matter experts to drive content, managing implementation logistics, and driving follow-up
- Measuring the success of programs quantitatively through Salesforce.com and qualitatively with the MarketLive Business Development group
- Working with customers, partners and internal resources to deliver program content on time and with high quality
- Delivering regular communications to marketing and to the sales organization
- Producing company presence at events, such as conferences and tradeshows, including booth property, logistics, handouts, staffing, and lead follow-up
- Producing customer events, both online and face to face
- Managing updates to the MarketLive family of websites
- Coordinating collateral and sales tool development and production
MarketLive is looking for a candidate with 7+ years of experience and the following skills: - Experience driving the full program lifecycle across a number of lead generation program vehicles
- Experience creating and managing integrated programs including executions online, on the MarketLive website, through advertising and media, and customer and prospect events
- Strong writing and messaging skills
- Hands-on experience with creating e-based campaigns in a salesforce automation system or marketing campaign management system (experience with Salesforce.com a plus)
- Hands-on experience with HTML
- Lead generation metrics management, via a sales force automation system and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent program management acumen
- Good cross functional communication
- Ability to guide, direct, and manage outside design agencies to get their best possible work
Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple simultaneous projects, keeping all moving ahead smoothly
